Super Bowl LI Patriots 34 Falcons 28

In the past five and a half years since the Super Bowl took place, there have been many memes and signs about it.

The Falcons went on a 28-3 run in the first three quarters.

As we all know, it was 2:12 into the third quarter. But The Falcons technically tied the score almost six minutes earlier at 8:31 of the third quarter by Tyvin Coleman.

However, no one can predict what will happen at the end of the third quarter and the fourth quarter.

What happened next? The Patriots had four touchdowns, one loss, one field goal and two turnovers — and even after all that, it still tied the game.

Two notable hits in the comeback include one from the perfect Julian Edelman.

He will sit down and pass the ball several times on his knees, and manage to keep it on the ground – leading to the center field.

Another receiver from the Falcons, Julio Jones, will use his entire 6-foot-3 frame and long arms to catch quarterback Matt Ryan’s passing ball.

He was able to throw the ball over the outstretched arms of the Patriot guards.

Once Jones caught the ball, he was able to keep his feet on the edge before falling to the edge with the grace of a ballerina.

1992 AFC Champions Bill Oilers

While that may not have happened during the Super Bowl, in 1992, the Bills returned even more than the Patriots.

They went 35-3 and won 41-38 in overtime.

The Oilers were up 28-3 at halftime, and some players were discussing their postseason plans before realizing they were advancing to the playoffs with their first win.

Although the Bills lost the first round, they eventually won the next round, and went to the Super Bowl, only to be defeated by the Redskins 52-17.

Pacers-Knicks 1995 Playoffs

The special thing about this return is that the main thing is the same person who does it, who did it when it was most important. Or more precisely, the last nine seconds.

That’s good! Pacers shooting guard Reggie Miller played a key role in Game 1 of the 1995 series against the New York Knicks.

Miller is known for his clutch hitting, making two 3-pointers and two free throws in the game’s final nine seconds.

The Knicks led by six in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals about nine seconds before Miller started hitting streaks and it was one of the greatest comebacks in sports.

2005 Liverpool Champions Final

The only thing that saved Liverpool in this game was their captain Steven Gerrard, who was 3-0 down after half-time, with three goals in six minutes.

Liverpool were able to push the game long before they eventually beat AC Milan 3-2 in extra time and a goal to go down 3-3.

2004 ALCS Red Sox-Yankees

Although the Red Sox defeated the Cardinals in the 2004 World Series, it is reasonable to assume that this was the series that truly defeated the Curse of the Bambino and should be counted among the greatest comebacks in sports history.

For those who may not know the curse, the story is that the Red Sox Traded Babe Ruth, one of their best hitters and players, to the Yankees for $125,000.

Although the Red Sox went to the World Series four times between 1918 and 2004, 1946, 1967, 1975 and 1986, they never won. While their AL East members won 27. World Series!

So why was this series chosen as the one to break the curse?

Not only did the Red Sox win, they lost 3-1 in the opener, and then won all four games. It’s fun to watch!

The four games included two home runs, by David Ortiz, though they were far from the only two of his career, and a bases loaded and bloody socks Curt Schilling.

After defeating the Yankees in 2004, the Red Sox eliminated the St. Cardinals. Louis in the 2004 World Series.

Since then, the Yankees have only won two World Series titles in the 2000s (2000 and 2009). While the Red Sox also won World Series titles in 2007, 2013 and 2018.
